- NABS Award for outstanding contributor to the field of bluebird conservation presented to Vern Johnson, 1998
- Shortlisted for BC Forests Excellence Awards, 2000
- Hosted NABS 2002 ~ 25th annual conference 2002
- NABS Award for outstanding work in bluebird conservation presented to Sherry Linn, President SIBTS, 2002
- Affiliate member North American Bluebird Trail Society
- Partnership in the South Okanagan-Similkameen Conservation Program
- First BC Trans-Continental Bluebird Trail of the North American Bluebird Society established in Osoyoos, BC
- Research: One grant awarded in 2005 for continued research on Cavity nesting Lewis Woodpeckers in the Okanagan Valley.
- Banding of Mountain and Western Bluebirds on established trails was very successful in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
- Research: One grant was awarded in 06 for a study of the nest parasites in Mountain Bluebirds near Williams Lake.
- The Mountain Bluebird Research that was being done in Williams Lake will continue throughout 2007. Erin O'Brien who is conducting this research on parasites in relationship to Mountain Bluebirds has been asked to make a poster presentation about her findings at the NABS 2007 Conference in Georgia.
